When it comes to who represents the most players in the NFL, our 2026-2027 NFL Agency Market Share report leaves little doubt. Athletes First stands alone at the top, repping 12% of all ACTIVE players, more than double any other agency.
We used Booking Agent Info’s sports industry database to research the agencies behind every active NFL player.
The most interesting takeaway is how much the top agencies concentrate the league’s best players. Each of the three biggest names more than doubles its overall market share when you narrow the lens to the NFLs Top 100 players.
Athletes First holds 12% of all NFL players but claimed 28% of the Top 100.
CAA shows the same pattern, jumping from 5% of the market to 14% of the Top 100, and WIN Sports Group makes the same leap, from 5% overall to 11%.
The pipeline of incoming talent tells the same story. Athletes First led all agencies in the 2026 NFL Draft with nine first-round picks.
The standout riser was Excel Sports Management, which finished second with four first-rounders and landed the biggest prize of all: No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza, taken first overall by the Raiders. Excel holds a 4% market share.
Behind the top 3, the field gets crowded fast. A tight cluster of Klutch, Rosenhaus Sports, SportStars, THE·TEAM, and Excel all sit right around 4%. From there it fragments into a long list of shops at 2-3%: Lift Sports Management, Equity Sports, VaynerSports, Roc Nation Sports, 1 of 1 Agency, JL Sports, Aura Sports Group, and Priority Sports.
Beyond the leaders, the market runs deep. The remaining 41% of NFL players are represented by a broad, competitive field of agencies, and players with no agency representation. For all the star power concentrated at the top of this chart, the representation market remains remarkably diverse.
