Athletes First still sits on top at 12 players, but CAA just posted its third straight strong week, adding three of the latest ten reveals to climb to 11 and pull within a single player.

What was a five-player gap two weeks ago has been sliced to one.

This was a marquee round of names, too. CAA’s three additions were T.J. Watt, Zack Baun, and Quinyon Mitchell, an all-defense haul that’s a mirror image of last week, when the agency added three offensive stars in Bo Nix, CeeDee Lamb, and Tristan Wirfs.

Athletes First countered by adding star safety Derwin James to nudge its total to 12.

The gap behind the top two remains enormous, which is the real story of this race.

WIN Sports Group had a strong week, picking up Joe Burrow and Josh Hines-Allen to reach five and tie Rosenhaus Sports for third.

Klutch Sports Group holds at three, with THE·TEAM, Milk & Honey, and now Excel Sports Management (Garett Bolles) sitting at two.

Three more agencies joined the board for the first time: VaynerSports (Joe Thuney), JB Sports (George Kittle), and Katz Brothers Sports (Chris Jones).

The takeaway at 60 names: this has become a two-agency race. Athletes First is currently leading, but CAA is right behind with 40 names remaining.
