House is the biggest sound at ADE 2026, and it isn’t close.
We went through all 841 events on this year’s program and tagged every one by genre. House showed up on 526 of them. That’s 63% of the entire week, almost double techno at 35%.

If you add up the numbers and get well over 100%, that’s on purpose. Most ADE nights don’t stick to one sound. A house warm-up into a techno headliner counts for both, and that overlap shows how mixed ADE’s lineups really are.

Tech house did the heaviest lifting, on 19% of all events, more than every techno subgenre combined. Deep house followed at 12%.

Techno is where ADE really pulls away from Miami. It’s on 35% of events in Amsterdam, compared to just 14% of Miami Music Week’s lineup. House wins both weeks, but Amsterdam is the one where techno still holds real ground.
Then there’s trance, on 16% of events, with melodic trance alone matching disco and elektro at 6%. The country that gave the world Tiësto and Armin van Buuren hasn’t forgotten.

Compare that to Miami Music Week. House won there too, at 66%, but tech house alone was a third of the lineup, techno was just 14%, and trance barely registered at 2%. Same winner, very different week. Miami goes all in on one sound, and Amsterdam makes room for range.
