The 2026 NBA Draft first round is set, and the agency landscape looks quite different from a year ago.
We used Booking Agent Info’s sports database to research the agencies behind this years draft and compare to last year.
LIFT Sports Management went from 2 picks in 2025 to leading all agencies with 5 this year with Nate Ament (13), Ebuka Okorie (17), Jayden Quaintance (20), Labaron Philon Jr. (22), and Joshua Jefferson (28).
That’s the biggest jump of any major agency year-over-year, and a strong signal of where recruiting momentum is shifting.
THE·TEAM co-led the 2025 class with 6 picks, but this year they’re down to just 1 pick with Darryn Peterson (number 2 pick), after repping six first-rounders last year including VJ Edgecombe (3) and Collin Murray-Boyles (9).
CAA with 4 picks this year with Morez Johnson Jr. (9), Aday Mara (12), Christian Anderson (18), and Sergio de Larrea (25) but none inside the top 8, after landing the number 1 pick last year with Cooper Flagg.
WME (Darius Acuff Jr. 7, Dailyn Swain 15, Cameron Carr 24, Chris Cenac Jr. 27) and Klutch Sports Group (Caleb Wilson 4, Brayden Burries 10, Koa Peat 30) both stayed steady, each maintaining a consistent first-round presence similar to their 2025 totals.
Excel Sports Management also quietly had a strong year with three picks: Cameron Boozer (3), Hannes Steinbach (14), and Karim López (21).
At number 1 pick, AJ Dybantsa goes to Washington represented by his father, Anicet “Ace” Dybantsa Sr., bypassing the traditional agency model entirely at the most coveted spot in the draft.

Other agencies making an appearance include: Octagon, LAMF, Glushon, ProMondo Sports, AMR Agency, Primera Sports, and Seros Partners.
Primera Sports also makes history as the first women owned agency to represent an NBA lottery pick with Kingston Flemmings (8).
